Digital Media Kingston
Kingston University
Brief
This project asked us to devise the brand identity, provide a unique and innovative web based presence and implement an innovative marketing strategy for a new suite of masters courses at Kingston University.
Logo mark development
As the courses at Digital Media Kingston was a suite of new courses and no work has been produced by students, we began the project by asking the staff at Kingston what digital media meant to them and we received the following responses. From these responses we decided that the best way to describe what digital media at Kingston was, was that it was a space, a space that had yet to be created - so in fact it was an empty space. For Digital Media Kingston we see the brand as more than a logo — we like the idea of using live feeds relating to the industry / analytics / etc to shape the identity, website and marketing — an ever evolving visual that reflects the ever evolving industry. This project really suited our interests and skillset, as many elements of our work and methodology are reflected in the course content that is delivered on the MA programme.
