Recycled Glass Surfaces

To design a complete identity for Resilica recycled glass worktops which reflects the brand’s aspirations and key characteristics, personality and functionality as being:

• A material at the forefront of new sustainable product development • High quality and cutting edge • Made with an artisan approach, using the latest technology • Bespoke, one-off, unique • Available in an infinite range of colours • Beautifully finished and detailed • A material with character and individuality • Made with 85% recycled glass, environmentally friendly • Durable, practical, solid, honest, sleek, fuss-free, glossy, sparkly, desirable etc

Outcomes to include the following (all ideas are up for discussion):

Logo/Initial Identity

We can talk you through a mood board of graphic styles, colours and qualities we’ve put together as a starting point. We have some clear ideas about what we like and don’t like! • We like the idea of using the ‘courier’ typeface for the main body of text • We’d like to see rough drawings and initial concepts prior to design development • We’d like to approve this stage prior to commencing…

Stationery

• To include letterhead, business cards, comp. slip, posting label (working with existing packaging?), email signature, invoice template and estimate template. • We like the juxtaposition of utilitarian materials (grey board, bible paper) with something more refined and aspirational • Samples are currently sent out in boxes or jiffy bags. This needs to be more consistent or standardised for the following possible needs:

Packing box - Most standard samples to be sent out will be cut as modular sizes: 50mm x 50mm, 100mm x 100mm, 50mm x 100mm and 100mm x 200mm. and we need a way of packaging them from a single 50 x 50 to a set of samples which may include 100 x 200

We also will be sending out a bespoke sample tile 10cm x 10cm (15mm deep). This is for a one-off colour mix

1/3 A4 envelope for mail-out, letters, invoices etc

Mail Out Leaflet

• This would probably be double sided A3 folding up to 1/3 A4, on paper • We will provide selection of images and text • To contain all basic information about the material including colour swatches etc….as much as we need to say/customers need to know when making their initial enquiry. • To express all key brand characteristics in one hit • An additional leaflet showing colour ranges to be printed at a later date (may be 1/3 A4 size?)



We would also like you to

• Undertake all sourcing and overseeing of print production on approval of designs and print costs

Website

• Complete re-design of the website using all of the above • We will provide selection of images and text • Non-transactional website • Should have a Client Management System - We need to be able to update and amend the web site ourselves. • Will contain database led sample galleries
